Dastanbek Djumabekov elected as Toraga (Chairman) of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic
Mr. Dastanbek Djumabekov on 25th October, 2017 was elected Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Newly elected Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh extended his sincere gratitude to the members of the parliament for their trust and called on the deputies to carry out consolidated work on further improvement of the countries legislation to pay more attention to challenges that the public faces and to protect state interests. He also expressed his intention to work impartially and closely cooperate with all of his colleagues.
Election of the Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic held on 25th October after the resignation of the previous Chairman, Mr. Ch.Tursunbekov.
TurkPA Secretary General J.Asanov forwarded a congratulatory letter to Mr. Dastanbek Djumabekov on the occasion of his election as the Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh.
Mr. D.Djumabekov until now has been acting head of the TurkPA Commission on Economic Cooperation.
