On 3 May 2024, Chairman of the Commission on National Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, former Minister of Education Mahmut Özer visited the TURKPA Secretariat and met with Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er.

Chair of Commission expressed his satisfaction with the visit to the Secretariat of TURKPA, which plays a pivotal role in strengthening cooperation among the parliaments of Turkic states.

During the visit, the guest was apprised of the current and future activities of the Assembly, particularly of the work being carried out within the framework of the TURKPA Commission on Education, Culture, Social and Humanitarian Affairs. Secretary General underscored the significance of parliamentary cooperation for the future of the Turkic World.
