The TurkPA International Election Observer Mission conducted a short-term monitoring of the early parliamentary elections and regular elections for the Maslikhats (local representative bodies) held on 20 March 2016 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

TurkPA observers’ mission was comprised of Mr. Nizami Jafarov, member of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan, Mr. Halük Ipek, member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Chairman of TurkPA’s Commission of Legal Affairs and International Issues, Chairman of Turkey-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group and Mr. Erkan Aydın, member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and representatives of the TurkPA Secretariat.
