On 18 November 2022, within its observation program, the TURKPA Election Observation Mission (EOM) led by Mr. Erol Kaya, Chairman of the TURKPA Commission of Legal Affairs and International Relations, member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, met with Mr. Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic Kazakhstan.

Noting the great importance attached by Kazakhstan to the election observation, Mr. Ashimbayev stressed the contribution of the TURKPA EOM to the international observation process of the early presidential election.

In his turn, Head of Mission Mr. Kaya noted that the activities of the TURKPA EOM were aimed at an objective assessment of the electoral process and wished every success for the people of Kazakhstan in the upcoming election.
