The Sixth Meeting of the Commission on Environment and Natural Resources was held on 20 September 2021 in virtual format with participation of the members of the Commission and representatives of the TURKPA Secretariat.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ahliman Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Commission and Chair of the Committee on Healthcare of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the course of the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the main theme of “Management of water resources and land”.

The Commission reviewed and approved the report and recommendation on the matter, as well as the draft Model Law “On Conservational Utilization of Energy Resources and Energy Efficiency” to be submitted to the Tenth Plenary Session to be held on 27-28 September 2021 in Turkistan, Kazakhstan.
