On 5 April 2013, the second meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Issues was held in Ankara. The second meeting was held in the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey. The report and recommendation on “The main issues of creating a common Turkic terminology fund” were discussed in the meeting.

Members of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, and staff members of the TURKPA International Secretariat participated at the meeting. At the same time, members of commission made speech and exchange of views at the meeting.

At the same time, participation and speech of Mr. Gismat Gozalov, Deputy Secretary General of Turkic Council, Mr. Firat PURTAS, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY, Mr. Mustafa Baskurt, Secretary General of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities, and Mr. Sherubai KURMANBAIULY, Deputy Head of the Committee on Languages, Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan were expected at the meeting.

Report and Recommendation on the main issues of creating a common Turkic terminology fund, were expected to be adopted and presented for adoption in the IV plenary session of TURKPA which would be held in Ankara in that year. In addition, date, venue and agenda of the 3rd Commission meeting were determined.

At the same time, report on the issues of the implementation of the Bilge Korkyt educational program which was adopted in previous meeting would presented by Mr. Garifolla Yesim, Chairman of the Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian issues.
