International Forum “Role of Youth Leadership In Development Process of Interstate Cooperation”
Istanbul hosted an International Forum “Role of Youth Leadership In Development Process of Interstate Cooperation” organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA).
Parliamentarians, diplomats, bureaucrats, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations from 25 countries including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, European Parliament, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Pakistan, Iraq and Morocco participated at the Forum.
The aim of the Conference was to bring together young leaders from various countries to build personal network and conduct a dialogue, promote cooperation among the countries of the region with different culture, religion and traditions, realize potential of youth to establish a common future in solidarity and promote values coming from common history, culture and geography.
Speaking in the opening ceremony of the forum TURKPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov said that the forum will be one of the main factors in the development of the interstate cooperation and relations.
Most of the young attending in the event will work in different state management bodies and it will create opportunities to cooperate with their colleagues.
Representatives of different governmental bodies participated in the discussions.
At the end of the International Forum, adoption of the common Appeal of participants is expected with the view to announce the call of young leaders for peace and development in the region, resolution of problems without use of force and to create a region of friendship and fraternity house through joint efforts of traditional and parliamentary diplomacy.
