Graduated from the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute. Member of the Amnesty Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Since 1976 worked as a nurse at the Thoracic Surgery Clinic of the Azerbaijan State Physicians' Training Institute. Since 1978 worked as an intern at City Clinical Hospital No. 4. Since 1980 was a doctor of Tuberculosis Hospital No.6. Since 1984 was a chief physician. Since 1995 worked as a head of Surakhani District Health Department. Since 1996 was a physician of Tuberculosis Dispensary No. 1. Since 1997 worked as a chief physician of Tuberculosis Dispensary No. 6. Since 2002 worked as a director of Sabunchu District Health Department. Since 2006 was a chief doctor of Anti-Tuberculosis Dispensary No. 4.

Chairperson of the Nizami regional branch of the New Azerbaijan Party. Was elected as a member of parliament of the fourth and fifth convocations. Member of the Health Committee, Family, Women's and Children's Affairs Committee and Accounting Commission of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Member of the working groups on relations with the parliaments of Austria, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, India, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, and Slovakia.
