On 18 November 2022, TURKPA delegation led by Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er visited the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology of the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana and met with General Director Gabit Mukhambetov.

The parties informed each other on the activities of their respective institutions and discussed the prospects of mutual cooperation.

Following the meeting, TURKPA and KAZSTANDART have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, in which the parties agreed to strengthen the relationship between the institutions and provide a framework for cooperation in the fields of quality infrastructure, economics, applied research, and other related areas.
