On 28 April 2023, Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er held meeting with Secretary General of the International Parliamentarians' Congress (IPC) on the sidelines of the Twelfth Plenary Session of TURKPA held in Ankara.

Expressing her gratitude to the Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er for the invitation to attend the Twelfth Plenary Session, Mrs. Ayaz briefed on the activities of the IPC. In his turn, Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er thanked Mrs. Ayaz for her participation in this important event and stressed the significance attached to the relations with IPC. The parties exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation between TURKPA and IPC.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding setting out the scope of cooperation between the two institutions.
