TURKPA delegation took part at the 6th meeting of the CICA Ministers of Foreign Affairs
On 11-12 October 2021 the 6th Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (hereinafter CICA) named “Security and sustainable development in Asia in new realities of the post-pandemic world” was held in Nur-Sultan. The meeting was attended by Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CICA member states, Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors and representatives of the Embassies of the CICA observer countries with the residence in Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of international organizations and CICA partner organizations.
TURKPA delegation headed by Secretary General Mr. Altynbek Mamaiusupov also took part at the meeting.
Prior to the event, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had received the heads of delegations.
After the adoption of the agenda the heads of delegations made their speeches. During the 6th Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of CICA a numerous documents were adopted, including amendments into the legal documents and recommendations of the Committee of Senior Officials.
The 6th Meeting of the CICA Ministers of Foreign Affairs ended with Press Stakeout.
On the sidelines of the event the Secretary General held several meetings with the heads of delegations from Turkic States.
Delegation of TURKPA consisted of Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov, Deputy Secretary General Talgat Aduov and Secretary of the Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs Bauyrzhan Datkayev.
