Speaker of GNAT received Secretary General
On 20 February 2018, Secretary General Mr. Altynbek Mamaiusupov was received by Mr. Ismail Kahraman, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey.
Mr. Kahraman emphasized the importance of TURKPA, as a platform of regional integration of the member countries bound by common ethnical, cultural and historical ties. He also reaffirmed Turkey’s full support to further development of cooperation between the member countries and placed particular emphasis on the role to be played by the TURKPA Secretariat in enhancing relationships among the four countries within the Assembly’s framework.
Secretary General Mr. Mamaiusupov thanked the Speaker for his support to TURKPA and briefly informed him on Activities Plan of TURKPA for 2018. The parties exchanged their views on 8th Plenary Session of TURKPA to be held in Turkey and events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of TURKPA.
Head of Department on Protocol and Foreign Relations of the GNAT Mr. Cemalettin Tüney and TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Mr. Ali Yıldız also took part in the meeting.
