Speech of TURKPA Secretary General Mr. Ramil Hasanov in the reception regarding the end of his diplomatic mission

This is my last speech as TURKPA Secretary General and the last meeting with you.
Of course, it is gratifying to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of TURKPA.
Many people had doubts about the organization coming to a certain point in a short period when organization made its first steps in 2009 and Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev gave this idea in 2006.
We began everything from zero, but moved with belief, confidently and surely. Of course, we had mistakes, but these mistakes made us stronger and inspired. Because we believed in team spirit and moved together.
I would like to express my gratitude to H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, who always supported us comprehensively and Mr. Oqtay Asadov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Parliament, who was with us in all difficult moments, as well as to Mr. Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It is a pleasure for me to extend my gratitude to H.E. Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, who was the author of this historical idea, Chairman of Mazhilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, President, Chairman of Parliament, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to the President, Speaker of the Parliament and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
TURKPA is a house of friendship and peace which serves to the preservation of peace and stability in the region through the Parliamentary diplomacy. We stand for developing close cooperation with all coutries of the region and parliaments, including international organizations.
Currently, Mr. Cemil Çiçek, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, is Chairman-in-office of TURKPA and on 1 October I will hand over the post of TURKPA Secretary General to Mr. Jandos Asanov, my friend and valuable diplomat from Kazakhstan.
This is a handover process of a historical flag. I believe that our brother who will take over the flag will protect the reputation of the organization, strengthen, enhance activities and serve to strengthen its image.
Also I believe that the fruitful cooperation we established with all diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Azerbaijan, state structures, non-governmental sector and media representatives will continue and develop.
I would like also emphasize that I am always ready to share 3 years and a half experience inheritted me in this direction.
I am grateful to everyone and I wish you successful 5th anniversary.
