TURKPA will hold conference on “The Role of Woman in the 21st Century: The Responsibility of Female Politicians”

On the ocassion of 20th anniversary of independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries (TURKPA) will hold conference on “THE ROLE OF WOMAN IN THE 21ST CENTURY: THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FEMALE POLITICIANS” to be hosted by Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Republic. Conference will be organized jointly with “Lider Women” Public Association, Turkish Agency of Cooperation and Development (TIKA) and “Dialog Euroasia” international organization.

The Conference discussions will cover such aspects as an increasing role of women in all spheres, their growing participation in ensuring peace and stability, governing and decision-making process, and at this background enhancement of relationships and experience exchange among women of the Turkicspeaking countries. The conference will discuss also the issue of the responsibility of female politicians in resolving global problems.

Conference will be held on 3 october 2011 in Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Republic.
