TurkPA Deputy Secretaries General attended the 28th Annual Session of the Crans Montana Forum

TurkPA Deputy Secretaries General Kurshad Melih Sariarslan and Altynbek Mamaiusupov attended the 28th Annual Session of the Crans Montana Forum took place in Barcelona on 5-8 July, 2017.

The plenary sessions continued with two international conferences generally titled "Which world for tomorrow? " where officials and experts from Mediterranean, Africa, Middle East, Silk Road countries and the rest of the world gathered to discuss issues related to sports and its contribution as a new tool for securing peace and stability in the world.

The second conference was dedicated to the Silk Road cooperation and its potential where the TurkPA Deputy Secretary General (DSG) Altynbek Mamaiusupov delivered speech on interactions of Turkic-speaking countries and potential of their further cooperation within "One Belt, One Road" project.

On the sidelines of the forum DSGs had spoken with President of the Crans Montana Forum Pierre-Emmanuel Quirin, TRACECA Secretary General Mircea Ciopraga, Azerbaijan MP Gunay Pashaeva, State Secretary MFA Romania Monica Gheorgitha, Turkic Council representatives, as well as other participants.

The TurkPA interaction with Crans Montana Forum develops in the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding signed by TurkPA Secretary General Mr. Jandos Asanov and the Crans Montana Forum President Mr. Pierre-Emmanuel Quirin in 2016.
