Second Humanitarian Sciences Forum

Second Humanitarian Sciences Forum organised by the International Turkic academy was held in Astana on 25-26 May, 2017. Within the framework of the event variety of themes related to scientific research in the field of linguistics and history were discussed.

Scientists, experts and officials from Turkic-speaking countries, Russia, USA, China, European, Asian and African countries attended the forum.

TurkPA Secretary General Jandos Asanov spoke at the session titled “Cult of Science: Scientific Integration and Common Values” and touched upon the issues relating to the research of Turkic languages (text of speech is below). Particularly, he said of the importance of the philosophical work of Leader of the Nation, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev Future Outlook: Spiritual Revival, published on the 12th of April, 2017 in the further development of the Turkic languages.

J.Asanov said that the important fields that need attention were development of Turkic-Turkic linguistic translation into scientific track, comparative study of Turkic languages as well as systemic study of the history of Turkic languages.

On the sidelines of the forum TurkPA Secretary General talked to Darkhan Qydyrali, President of International Turkic Academy, Prof. Adil Akhmetov, member of Council of Aqsaqals (Aldermen) of the Turkic Council, members of Kazakh parliaments as well as other participants.
