Concert of the musical performers of the Turkic world

The concert titled “Masters of art of the Turkic world” that was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of independence of certain Turkic-speaking countries was held in Baku on 25th of June, 2016 with the organisational support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY).
The audience enjoyed various musical performances by “The Orchestra of the Folk Instruments of the Turkic World”. The orchestra, which was composed of the musicians representing Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Mongolia as well as the Russian Federation’s autonomous republic of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Sakha Yakutia and Moldova’s Gagauzia, was conducted by Agaverdi Pashayev from Azerbaijan and Marat Jalbyrov from Kazakhstan.

TurkPA Secretary General Jandos Asanov attended the festive gathering and on its sidelines conversed with Mr Abulfas Garaev, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan and Mr Duisen Qaseinov, Secretary General of TÜRKSOY.
