Cooperation between the administrations of TurkPA parliaments is growing

Acting head of the administration (apparatus) of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Jaslan Jugunisov visited Baku on 12-13 February, 2016 on the invitation of the Head of the administration of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Safa Mirzoyev.

During the bilateral talks Mr. Mirzoyev and Mr. Jugunisov discussed the issues relating to coordination of onward interaction of the two parliaments both at the bilateral level as well as on the multilateral format. There has also been extensive exchange of views on the TurkPA agenda, Milli Mejlis being the previous chairmanship of the TurkPA and Kazakhstan’s Majilis as the current chairmanship.

Mr. Mirzoyev expressed hope that construction of the new administrative building of the TurkPA Secretariat, which is being carried out by the Milli Mejlis, would be completed by the end of the year.

Mr. Jaslan Jugunisov also met the TurkPA Secretary General Mr. Jandos Asanov and they together went to construction site of the TurkPA Secretariat’s new building to get acquainted with the pace of construction.
