Visit of Union of Mediterranean Municipalities to Secretariat

On 10 March 2015, the delegation of the Union of Mediterranean Municipalities (AKBB) led by Mr. Hakan Tütüncü, Chairman of the Union and Head of Kepez Municipality of Antalya city, paid a visit to the TURKPA premises and met with the Secretariat’s diplomatic staff.

During the meeting, Mr Hakan Tütüncü talked about Union’s activities, its tasks and objectives. Mr. Tütüncü also expressed the readiness of the Union to discuss proposals on various initiatives and projects to be developed jointly with TURKPA. Mr. Kürşad Melih Sarıarlan, TURKPA Deputy Secretary General, briefly informed guests on the TURKPA’s primary objectives and on-going activities and discussed with the AKBB delegation main aspects of joint initiatives that may be launched with the Union also in the light of cooperation with the Union of Turkic World Municipalities (TDBB).
