TURKPA Deputy Secretary General attended the GUAM Session

TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov attended, as a guest, the 7th Session of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly, which was held on 10-11 November in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

Transformation of geopolitical environment in the GUAM area, Euro-Atlantic integration of the GUAM member states, prospects of sectoral cooperation of GUAM countries were the main issues on the agenda of the Session.

During the second session of Assembly, Deputy Secretary General briefly informed participants on objectives, activities and developments of TURKPA.

The Assembly was attended by the delegation of Azerbaijan led by the Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Milli Mejlis for Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology, Head of the delegation of Azerbaijan to the Parliamentary Assembly of GUAM Mr. Elton Mammadov.

On the second day, Deputy Secretary General held informal meeting with GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili, as well as with PABSEC Deputy Secretary General Hasan Baytekin and the members of Azerbaijani delegation.
