TURKPA Secretary General visits İstanbul and Kyiv

On 3-6 December 2013 TURKPA Secretary General Mr. Jandos Asanov made visits to Istanbul and Kyiv. On 4 December 2013 he met with the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Mr. Kyrylo Tretiak in the PABSEC Headquarters. During the meeting, Mr. Tretiak confirmed invitation for TURKPA to participate, as observer, in the 42nd General Assembly of the PABSEC to be held on 17-19 December 2013 in Tbilisi. On 4 December in Istanbul TURKPA Secretary General took part in the opening session of the Caspian Forum organized by the Caspian Strategy Institute. On the sidelines of the event Mr. Asanov held talks with the Secretary General of the Caspian Strategy Institute Mr. Haldun Yavaş, as well as with other experts of the Institute.

On the same day Mr. Asanov held meeting with the Secretary General of the Union of Turkic World Municipalities Mr. Mustafa Başkurt.
At the invitation of the Ukrainian Chairmanship in the OSCE, TURKPA Secretary General attended the 20th Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council held on 5-6 December 2013 in Kyiv, where he had bilateral meetings with some participants of the meeting. Mr. Asanov also met with the current Chairman of the OSCE Permanent Council Mr. Ihor Prokopchuk, Ukrainian Ambassador to the OSCE. Mr. Prokopchuk extended an invitation letter to the TURKPA Secretary General to visit Vienna and address the OSCE Permanent Council meeting on 19 December 2013.
