TURKPA Secretary General attended international conference dedicated to well-known Hungarian turkologist
TURKPA Secretary General Jandos Asanov attended international conference “The legacy of Mandoky Kongur Istvan: the dialogue of generations in the Great Steppe”, which took place on 25 September, 2014 in Astana. The conference was organized by the Turkic Academy on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of well-known Hungarian turkologist Mandoky Kongur Istvan.
Meeting of legal experts held in Baku
The first meeting of the experts on improvement of the legal basis of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries was held on 19 September 2014 in the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan. The experts from the member countries conducted exchange of views and consultations on current state of the TURKPA’s legal framework.

TurkPA Deputy Secretary General A.Mamayusupov while speaking at the Kurultai of architects and city builders of the Turkic world taking place in Bishkek, said that EXPO-2017 dedicated to the renewable sources of energy will give a boost to the development of alternative energy in the Turkic speaking countries as well as in the world.
Kazakhstan commissions two national railways
Kazakhstan held a ceremony to commission two new railways, Zhezkazgan-Beineu and Arkalyk-Shubarkol on Aug. 22. The president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev attended the ceremony.
